George Hiller-Jones

George joined Watsons in 2017 from a top 10 firm and was appointed as a Director in September 2020. George’s experience and skill set allow him to provide comprehensive and commercial advice to SME’s, Owner Managed Business’s and larger corporate clients. 

George qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant in 2016, achieving first time passes in each of his exams before joining a top 10 firm to develop his knowledge and exposure to corporate clients. Shortly after qualifying George gained his practising certificate with the ICAEW as he began to establish his own client portfolio.

His focus is on providing tax, accounting and strategic business advice to entrepreneurial clients. He has a particular interest on utilising modern accounting software to increase efficiency and to provide both meaningful and timely information to help his clients make informed decisions. 

George is a keen sportsman and played semi-professional football in the Conference South at the age of 16. Being particularly injury prone this has left him to settle on playing golf and watching motorsports!
